Meeting regarding coordination of software for collection of cess under Odisha Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board
Bhubabeswar 15/2/2025- A Meeting on integration of software for Cess Collection under Odisha Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board held This integration will help in enhancing the Cess collection of the Board in coming years.on integration of different software for Cess Collection under Odisha Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (OBOCWW Board) has been held today in the PC Department Conference Hall, Lok Seva Bhawan under the Chairmanship of Smt. Anu Garg, IAS, DC-cum-ACS, Odisha. Smt. Chithra Arumugam, IAS Principal Secretary to Government, Labour; ESI Department briefed about the requirement of the software integration with Nirman Shramik Portal for seamless deposit of the Cess amount collected by the cess collectors at source, to the Board within the prescribed timeline. This integration will certainly help in enhancing the Cess collection of the Board in the coming years. The meeting was attended by Smt. Usha Padhee, IAS Principal Secretary to Government, Housing and Urban Development Department, Commerce Transport Deptt. Sri Indramani Tripathy, IAS, Labour Commissioner, Odisha,Dr. N.Thirumala Naik, IAS, Vice Chairman, BDA, Special Secretary, Finance Department, Additional Secretary from PR DW and R.D Deptt., Additional Commissioner, BMC along with senior officers from different Departments and OB OCWW Board.
