Thank You to Bhatti for the Atlas Report.. KTR’s Jibes at Revanth
Sakshi, Telangana Bhavan: The Working President of BRS, KTR, has made sensational comments against Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He sharply criticized him by saying that there is no Chief Minister in the country who talks like a person on the verge of bankruptcy. KTR asserted that for the past 15 months, Revanth has been echoing the same claims regarding the state’s economic condition. He urged Revanth to take a look at the Bhatti Vikramarka report before making any statements.
Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan, former minister and BRS MLA KTR expressed gratitude to Bhatti Vikramarka for presenting the Telangana Atlas report. He noted that the Telangana Atlas report has currently been removed from the internet. KTR pointed out that the report has thoroughly debunked the false claims made by Revanth Reddy. According to the report, Telangana ranks first in the country in per capita income.
KTR elaborated, stating that the report outlines how wealth has increased during KCR’s tenure as the Chief Minister. He mentioned that Telangana is one of the states providing significant contributions to the nation’s economy. In terms of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), Telangana has outpaced Gujarat in the past decade, and the state has seen considerable growth in income and wealth over these years.
KTR challenged Congress leaders, who have been continuously criticizing KCR’s governance, to review the Telangana Atlas for once. The report indicates that Telangana is number one in the nation regarding natural resources. Electricity consumption has also increased during KCR’s administration, he pointed out. KTR stated that the number of factories has significantly risen under BRS governance, reinforcing the notion that development has occurred, as per the Congress’ reports. He argued that there are stark contrasts between Revanth’s claims regarding debts and the actual statistics presented in the report.
According to the details highlighted in the report, the interest accrued on Telangana’s loans over the past ten months amounts to 22,056 crores, which translates to a repayment of 2,200 crores per month. Despite these figures, Revanth has been projecting an exaggerated narrative of over 4,000 crores as monthly interest payments. KTR admonished Revanth to stop spreading what he termed as nonsensical rhetoric and suggested he should gain some wisdom.
KTR criticized Revanth for equating Telangana with a cancer patient while referring to a report that mentions over a lakh ration cards being removed during Congress’ governance. He argued that Congress was leading Telangana towards a financial crisis, spending more than its income and questioned the whereabouts of these funds. He asked why borrowing was necessary in such circumstances.
Highlighting what he labeled as Revanth’s ‘Tuglak decisions’, KTR remarked on the adverse effects on the real estate market due to policies affecting irrigation, such as those at Kaleshwaram, which have negatively impacted groundwater levels in the state. He accused the Congress government of turning a prosperous state into a bankrupt one. KTR described Congress’ governance as misguided and shameful, particularly emphasizing the imposition of RR tax in the state.
In a bold statement, KTR concluded with a challenge, asserting that if anyone claims that his statements are false, he is prepared to face any consequences.
