India Trek Delegation from Japan visited KIIT and KISS
Bhubaneswar, Feb 25: – During their visit, the delegation explored the campuses of KIIT and KISS while learning about Odisha’s rich cultural traditions. Additionally, as part of the Indo-Japan Cultural Exchange programme, another delegation from Japan visited KIIT and KISS from February 22 to 26. The Japanese delegation engaged in interactive sessions with KIIT and KISS students, exchanging ideas on Odisha’s art, and the primary objective of this programme is to facilitate knowledge exchange while gaining insights into Odisha’s art, culture, heritage, and socio-economic landscape. As part of the India Trek invitation programme, a 21-member delegation from Harvard University in USA is currently visiting KIIT and KISS campuses for a seven-day tour from February 23 to March 1.Students from both countries showcased their respective cultural traditions, and workshops were organized focusing on art, culture, and architecture. The delegations also visited Puri and Konark, gaining firsthand knowledge of the region’s artistic and architectural heritage.KIIT and KISS students had the opportunity to learn about Japanese and Harvard cultural traditions from their visiting counterparts. Expressing gratitude for this initiative, the visiting delegates extended their thanks to KIIT & KISS Founder, Achyuta Samanta, for facilitating such a meaningful cultural exchange.
