Infrastructure and Healthcare Developments: The cabinet approved the establishment of specialized medical departments at Dr. Radhakrishnan Government Medical College, Hamirpur, and the creation of 118 associated posts. Crackdown on Drug Trade: CM Sukhu directed the police department to launch a “mission-driven” crackdown on the drug network in the state over the next six months. He emphasized strict action against drug peddlers and government employees found involved in such illegal activities, stating that they would be terminated from service.
Timber Smuggling Prevention: The Chief Minister instructed officials to integrate forest department outposts with police outposts to combat timber smuggling. He emphasized the installation of advanced technology, including CCTV cameras, at these integrated outposts to curb illegal timber trade.
