Indian Adventurer’s 15,000-Mile World Bike Tour Halted After Theft in UK
In a devastating setback, 33-year-old Indian adventurer Yogesh Alekari has been forced to pause his ambitious 15,000-mile motorcycle world tour after his bike and belongings were stolen in the United Kingdom.
Alekari, who began his journey from Mumbai on May 1, 2025, had already covered 17 countries across Asia and Europe before tragedy struck. His KTM 390 Adventure motorbike, along with essential gear and travel documents, was taken from Wollaton Park in Nottingham, leaving him stranded and heartbroken.
The seasoned traveller, widely followed on social media under his project “Expedition World”, shared his grief, saying the theft had left him with a “broken heart” and the daunting task of figuring out how to continue the journey.
