250 new teachers to be recruited in Chandigarh schools

– Education: 250 new teachers to be recruited in Chandigarh schools. Chandigarh education department has taken up recruitment for 993 posts of teachers, including 396 posts for JBT teachers, 98 posts for postgraduate teachers and 100 posts for nursery teachers.

– Infrastructure: 3 new schools coming up in Chandigarh by October 2025. A Government Senior Secondary School in Kajheri, Chandigarh, will finish construction by October this year and as per the department’s deadline it will be inaugurated in the first week of November.
