एयरटेल

एयरटेल ने 84 दिन और 365 दिन की वैधता वाला सस्ता प्लान लांच किया है। इसके तहत कंपनी ने 499 रुपए में 84 दिन के लिए अनलिमिटेड कॉलिंग और 900 एसएमएस का प्लान लांच किया है। इसके अलावा 548 रुपए में 84 दिन के लिए अनलिमिटेड कॉलिंग, 900 एसएमएस और 7 जीबी टाडा कंपनी दे रही है। यही नहीं, 1959 रुपए में 365 दिन की वैलिडिटी वाला प्लान भी कंपनी ने लांच किया है, जिसमें अनलिमिटेड कालिंग और 3600 एसएमएस मिलते हैं। 2249 रुपए के प्लान में 365 दिन की वैलिडिटी, अनलिमिटेड कालिंग, 3600 एसएमएस और 30 जीबी डाटा कंपनी दे रही है।

जियो का प्लान

जियो ने 2 प्लान लांच किए हैं। एक प्लान 84 दिन की वैलिडिटी वाला है, जिसके लिए आपको 458 रुपए का रिचार्ज करवाना होगा, जिसमें आपको 84 दिन के लिए अनलिमिटेड कॉलिंग और एसएमएस की सुविधा मिलेगी। दूसरा प्लान 365 दिन के लिए है, जिसकी कीमत 1958 रुपए है, इसमें आपको एक साल के लिए 3600 एसएमएस और अनलिमिटेड कॉलिंग की सुविधा मिलेगा।
वीआई का प्लान

Quit job to launch startup

Reflecting on his “wild” year on the social media platform X, Tripathi said he quit his Amazon job with a ₹1 crore package to launch his own startup. According to his LinkedIn profile, he worked as a software engineer with Amazon and helped develop the Amazon Pay Later application.

“2024 has been a wild year for me. Left my ₹1 crore job at Amazon without any backup, out of an urge to finally ‘start up’,” he revealed.

After quitting his job without a backup, Tripathi founded his first startup, called Hoobahoo AI, in 2024. The startup idea was rejected by Y Combinator. He pitched it to over 30 venture capitalists but failed to raise funds. He finally cut his losses and shut down Hoobahoo AI due to high customer acquisition costs and lack of funds.

A series of setbacks

Next, Tripathi and his co-founder Kunal Ranjan started working on a “B2B SaaS for engineering teams to monitor engineering productivity metrics.”

This idea was abandoned after the duo realised that one cannot measure the productivity of a software engineer as there is “too much qualitative nuance.”

Tripathi then worked on Codermon AI: an AI Agent for developers’ ad-hoc tasks. “Pivoted due to an overcrowded market,” he said.

After these multiple setbacks, he and his co-founder decided to explore the supply chain industry to develop an AI agent for procurement. Unfortunately, this too proved to be a dead end for them as they realised they lacked prior work experience in this domain.

Tripathi then started working on Reflecc AI and developed the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in just seven days and then conducted interviews with over 50 prospects and industry thought leaders to validate the idea.

Their efforts paid off to some extent – they managed to secure three Letters of Intent (LOIs) from potential clients, indicating genuine interest in the product. They even made it to Y Combinator’s top 10% of applications, but still got rejected in the end.

Upon further reflection, Tripathi and co realised that Reflecc AI was trying to solve too many problems at once by taking a horizontal approach. Recognising the need for focus, they decided to pivot once again.

They are currently building an AI Digital Marketer.

In his post, the Bengaluru techie admitted that he had failed a lot but said that he also learned a lot from these various setbacks. “I hope 2025 doesn’t force me to quit my entrepreneurial journey and return to being an employee…once again,” he concluded.

His post has reached over 40,000 people on X. In the comments section, many shared their own experiences with failure and wished him luck.

Attacks will be more multi-channel and multi-stage, leveraging AI and trying to evade detection

New Delhi, December 18^th, 2024 – Security experts at Barracuda Networks, Inc., a leading cybersecurity company providing complete protection against complex threats have revealed their perspectives on how the cyberthreat landscape is likely to evolve in 2025 and the key trends organisations in India should prepare for.

Among other things, the experts believe that AI-powered attacks will continue to evolve, making attacks increasingly personalised, faster, and harder to detect. जिम्बाब्वे सरकार ने एक बड़ा फैसला लेते हुए घोषणा की है कि अब व्हाट्सएप ग्रुप एडमिन को अपना एक पंजीकरण करवाना होगा और POTRAZ से एक लाइसेंस प्राप्त करना होगा। वहीं इस लाइसेंस की कीमत सरकार द्वारा $50 रखी गई है। दरअसल जिम्बाब्वे सरकार ने यह सख्त कदम गलत सूचनाओं को फैलने से रोकने के लिए उठाया है। लाइसेंस प्राप्त करने से डेटा सुरक्षा अधिनियम के साथ तालमेल बिठाया जा सकेगा।

वहीं अब इस फैसले के बाद सभी दूर जिम्बाब्वे सरकार के इस नियम की चर्चा हो रही है। जिम्बाब्वे के नागरिकों को अब व्हाट्सएप ग्रुप एडमिनिस्ट्रेटर बनने के लिए जिम्बाब्वे के पोस्ट और दूरसंचार विनियामक प्राधिकरण (POTRAZ) के साथ पंजीकरण करवाना पड़ेगा और अपने द्वारा एक ग्रुप को संचालित करने के लिए एक लाइसेंस भी प्राप्त करना होगा।

क्या है जिम्बाब्वे सरकार की यह योजना?

बता दें कि यह घोषणा जिम्बाब्वे के सूचना, संचार प्रौद्योगिकी, डाक और कूरियर सेवा मंत्री (ICTPCS) टाटेंडा मावेटेरा के द्वारा की गई। सरकार का मानना है कि नए नियमों से गलत सूचना के प्रसार और संभावित अशांति को रोका जा सकेगा। सरकार का उद्देश्य है कि इसे देश के डेटा संरक्षण अधिनियम के साथ संरेखित किया जा सके। बता दें कि डेटा संरक्षण अधिनियम के तहत सरकार किसी व्यक्ति की प्रत्यक्ष या अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से पहचान कर सकेगी। सरकार के पास अगर व्हाट्सएप ग्रुप एडमिन की जानकारी होगी तो वे ग्रुप के अन्य सदस्यों के फोन नंबर तक भी पहुंच रख सकेंगे।

इसे लेकर क्या है आलोचकों का तर्क?

दरअसल सरकार की योजना है कि इन नियमों से अपराधों को रोका जाए। लाइसेंसिंग प्रक्रिया के चलते अब ग्रुप एडमिन्स को व्यक्तिगत जानकारी भी प्रदान करनी होगी। हालांकि जिम्बाब्वे सरकार के इस फैसले को लेकर आलोचकों का तर्क है कि इससे लोगों के बीच ऑनलाइन चर्चा बाधित हो सकती है। इसके साथ ही सरकार का यह नियम गोपनीयता अधिकारों का उल्लंघन भी कर सकता है। उनका कहना है कि इसके लिए व्हाट्सएप द्वारा किए गए हाल ही में प्रयास ठीक है। व्हाट्सएप द्वारा ही अब इमेज की सत्यता की जांच की जा सकेगी।

Addressing the issues

There are several ways to improve financial literacy among small and medium enterprises.

First, policymakers should incorporate mandatory financial literacy training into existing support programmes for these businesses. It should cover essential financial management skills such as budgeting, cash flow management and investment planning.

Policymakers could also facilitate partnerships between banks, microfinance institutions and educational organisations to offer targeted financial literacy workshops for managers at small and medium enterprises. This would equip businesses to manage the financial support they receive.

Finally, policymakers should introduce incentives, such as reduced interest rates or preferential loan terms, for small and medium enterprises that complete certified financial literacy courses. This would motivate managers to enhance their financial management skills, leading to more sustainable business growth and improved economic outcomes.
The study
There is no single public register for small and medium enterprises in Ghana. So we drew our participants from a range of resources, including the national company register, the Ghana Export Promotion Authority, the Association of Ghana Industries and the Ghana Business Directory.
We defined small and medium enterprises in the same way as Ghana’s Statistical Service does: companies that have 250 or fewer employees.
Ultimately, 201 firms across the manufacturing and services sectors took part in the study. The vast majority of responses were from CEOs and senior finance managers, which is important since people in these positions ought to have comprehensive knowledge about a firm’s growth and performance.
The respondents saw a clear link between financial literacy and access to finance for growing their businesses. One CEO said:
Understanding financial principles is the foundation of our business decisions. Without financial literacy, we wouldn’t have been able to secure the necessary funding to expand our operations. It’s not just about getting access to finance but knowing how to manage it effectively that drives growth.
A senior financial manager told us:
Before improving our financial literacy, we struggled to convince lenders of our potential. Learning how to present our financials clearly and manage our cash flow gave us the credibility we needed to secure financing and invest in our growth.
Some interviewees discussed how not being financially literate had hampered their ability to properly use funding. A finance manager said that, after securing an initial round of funding. “we quickly realised we couldn’t manage cash flow effectively”, adding:
It felt like we were putting out fires every day. I didn’t understand terms like ‘liquidity ratios’ or ‘debt management’ until I started learning about financial literacy. It was eye-opening.
These lessons happened in various ways, some more formal than others. One CEO, realising their own financial management skills needed work, hired a financial officer with strong abilities in this area and learned a great deal from them.
Some CEOs signed themselves up for financial management workshops; others organised short courses for their entire teams. One told us: “We took a financial literacy course designed for entrepreneurs, and it gave us new insights into how to manage loans and investments. It wasn’t just about survival but also about how to leverage what we had to grow. Now, we budget better, monitor our cash flow closely, and even started saving for unexpected expenses.”
