Rakesh Jamwal, BJP State Spokesperson and MLA from Sundernagar, strongly condemned the use of abusive and offensive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother during a joint Congress-RJD event in Darbhanga.
He described the incident as a blot on democracy and a serious attack on India’s cultural values, calling it an insult to every mother and every son. Jamwal said that Congress has now reached the lowest point in its political existence, with the party under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership engaging in a politics of abuse rather than addressing real issues.
“From Parliament to the streets, Congress now prefers obscenities and offensive rhetoric over constructive dialogue,” Jamwal said. He criticized Congress and RJD for the public insult of the Prime Minister and his deceased mother, terming it not only deplorable but also an act that strikes at the very soul of Indian democracy.
The BJP spokesperson added that Congress cannot digest that the son of a poor mother has been serving as India’s Prime Minister for 11 years, transforming the country into one of the world’s leading powers. He accused Rahul Gandhi and Congress of being unable to move beyond dynastic politics, resorting instead to hate-filled and abusive language.
Jamwal further remarked that the hatred against PM Modi has now reached a level where Congress does not hesitate to insult even deceased mothers. He pointed out that this is not the first instance of Congress crossing the bounds of decency, citing a history of attacks on Modi from his Gujarat Chief Ministership to his tenure as Prime Minister.
