Has Pawan Kalyan Sent Such Psychos?
Sakshi, Eluru: Voices of dissent are increasing by the day against Polavaram MLA Chirri Balaraju. On Friday, a TDP worker posted a selfie video on social media expressing his anguish over the conduct of the MLA and Jana Sena leaders, creating quite a stir. The video is currently making waves across various social media platforms.
In the video, the individual criticizes the government’s announcement of ‘sand for free’, claiming that the Jana Sena mandal president is charging ₹100 per tractor in this region. He questioned, “Did Pawan Kalyan send such psychos to our area?” His discontent highlights the perceived discrepancies in the promises made versus the reality faced by citizens.
Call to Action Against Corruption
The worker also urged fellow party activists to create similar selfie videos to draw attention to the issues caused by Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan. He elaborated on the widespread corruption, asserting that whether it’s digging a borewell, applying for a pension for the elderly, or setting up a liquor shop, bribes are being demanded at every step.
He went on to say that the previous MLA, Tellam Balaraju, was far better than the current one. Shockingly, he revealed that anyone wanting to dig a borewell is being asked for ₹25,000 as a bribe. To establish a liquor shop, ₹1.50 lakh is demanded. For transferring village revenue officers, bribes range from ₹10,000 to ₹1 lakh; moreover, for land under the R&R package, they are soliciting ₹10,000 per transaction.
Further Developments
By nighttime, the activist released another video. In this follow-up, he mentioned that the earlier video was made during a time of dispute and accused certain individuals of deliberately making it viral on social media. He stated his intention to file a case against those engaged in such malicious activities.
This unfolding situation raises significant questions about political accountability and the integrity of elected representatives. As the controversy grows, one can only wonder how it will impact the political landscape in Andhra Pradesh and whether steps will be taken to address the rampant allegations of corruption.
