Eight Naxalites killed in police encounter
Bokaro – Eight Naxalites including two women of Naxal Committee member Vivek alias Prayag Manjhi have been killed in anti-naxal operation in Luguburu mountain. Also 14 destructive weapons including the Insas SLR have been recovered.
ADG said death of 8 Naxalites with Vivek shows the end of Naxalism in Jharkhand.
14 weapons recovered
The encounter has recovered a total of 14 weapons including 4 Insas rifles, one SLR rifle, one sixer.

193 cases registered on eight dead Naxalites
37 on Prayag alias Vivek, 85 on Arvind Yadav, 45 on Saheb Ram Manjhi, 20 on Gangaram Manjhi, four on Mahesh, one on Talon Di, one on Mahesh Manjhi and one on Ranju Manjhi is marked in different police stations of the state.
