
Nation News,Kurukshetra. Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that the government is working to strengthen the Sikh Hindu brotherhood in the state by following the teachings of Guru Arjan Dev. Along with this, a Sikh museum will be built on 3 acres of land in Kurukshetra to preserve the memories and teachings of the Gurus. This will work to take the youth forward on the teachings of the Gurus.
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini on Friday reached Bohli Sahib Gurudwara Pehowa to pay tributes to the fifth Guru, Guru Arjan Dev ji on his 419th martyrdom day. Guru Arjan Dev ji had performed penance at this place. Jathedar Mahendra Singh of Bohli Sahib Gurudwara honoured Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini by presenting him a saropa. After this, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini sat in the langar hall and took tea prasad and Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini served at the Chhabil and gave sweet water to the citizens.
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that Guru Arjun Dev’s martyrdom will continue to inspire us for ages like a beacon of light, generation after generation, to struggle and sacrifice against injustice, exploitation and oppression. He was the promising son of the great father Guru Ramdas. A religious mother like Bibi Bhaani gave him high-quality values. He said that impressed by his sharp intelligence, his maternal grandfather Guru Amardas had predicted that this grandson of mine would be the publisher of Vaani. This thing turned out to be completely true.
He said that Guru Arjun Dev’s biggest contribution was his supreme sacrifice. Even when the Mughal rulers tortured him severely, he did not leave the path of truth. He accepted to embrace death, but did not compromise with his religion and principles. Not only this, the pain he endured by sitting on a hot pan is the biggest sacrifice given for religion in history. Guru Arjun Dev’s sacrifice is an ideal not only for the Sikh community but for the whole of India. We have to preserve our life values with the inspiration of great men like Guru Arjun Dev.
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that on the occasion of Prakash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev organized in Sirsa, it was announced to give 70 Kanal land to this Gurudwara Sahib, on which this Gurudwara Sahib is built. In June 2024, the cabinet decided to transfer this land to Gurudwara Shri Chilla Sahib and it was given to Gurudwara Sahib. He said that Lohgarh Bhagwanpur is being developed as a tourism hub. For this purpose, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Trust has been formed in Lohgarh. He said that in view of the faith of the people, the Golden Jubilee Guru Darshan Yatra Yojana has been started with the aim of providing financial assistance to the pilgrims of the state visiting Sri Hazur Sahib Gurudwara, Sri Nankana Sahib, Sri Hemkund Sahib and Sri Patna Sahib.
Go to DC office and file a complaint, it will be resolved
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini heard the written complaints of the Sangat present at Shri Bohli Sahib Gurudwara and also directed the officials to resolve them. On the verbal complaints of some citizens, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini told them to go to the DC office with their complaints. The complaint will be resolved there. He also directed Deputy Commissioner Neha Singh to listen to the complaints of the citizens and resolve them.
