Chief Minister Haryana Naib Singh Saini interacted with public representatives of villages affected by waterlogging.

Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that in the disaster of waterlogging, the ruling party, the opposition and the general public need to serve together with patience, so that everyone can get rid of this disaster together. He said that gradually the water is decreasing and the problems are also reducing. About 3000 villages of the state have been affected by the excess water from the mountains. To compensate for the crop and other losses in these villages, the state government has opened an e-compensation portal, where so far 1,69,738 farmers have applied for the damage of 9,96,701 acres of crops.
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini was talking to journalists at Shahabad Rest House on Saturday. Earlier, the Chief Minister talked to the public representatives of the villages affected by waterlogging and asked in detail about the condition and loss of each village. Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini offered prayers at Markandeshwar temple and also interacted with the citizens shifted from the waterlogging affected area and understood their problems and assured that the state government is ready to help the citizens in every situation.
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that due to excess water coming from the hilly area, the villages of the state have been affected by waterlogging. Water is flowing more. People whose homes have been flooded have been taken to safer places. Accommodation, food and other facilities have been provided to them. Apart from this, arrangements are also being made for animal fodder. Such a situation had also arisen in the state in the year 2023. Officials in the state are engaged in making arrangements.
He said that the state government has opened an e-compensation portal to compensate for the losses of the common people, on which the general public can register. The water will gradually decrease and the situation of the state will be normal. While answering the questions of the journalists, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that all the canals, rivers, drains and flood relief arrangements are cleaned. This time the situation has worsened due to the water coming from the mountains. It is unfortunate that the opposition is doing politics in such a disaster situation.
