HP National Law University Shimla bags the best overall contingent award in “Zelus-V” sports fest that Rajiv Gandhi National Law University, Patiala

The contingent of the Himachal Pradesh National Law University was declared as the best overall contingent at the annual sports fest “Zelus-V” of Rajiv Gandhi National Law University, Patiala. The contingent of 60 students participated in various sports events including football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, throwball, athletics.

The contingent of HPNLU bagged the second runner up trophy amongst the different law universities all over the country under the contingent head Mr. Arpit Sharma. The players scored gold medals in six sporting events. Sidhant & Deepali scored gold medals in athletics, Ranveer in Shot-put, Chinmay and Anubhav in Chess. Suryabhan Guleria scored silver and bronze in various events of power-lifting and silver in Shot-put.

The “Zelus-V” Sports fest was held from 1st March to 4th March, 2024 at the Rajiv Gandhi National Law University in Patiala. This is an annual event hosted by RGNUL and this year saw the fifth edition of the event.

The officiating Vice-Chancellor, HPNLU, Prof (Dr.) Chanchal Kumar Singh congratulated all the participants of the contingent on winning the medals. The students are filled with rejoice on their wins. The chairperson, Sports committee, Dr. Praveen Kumar also congratulated the whole contingent on their performance.
