MY Bharat organised Blood Donation Camp at Rock Garden, Chandigarh on Vikas Diwas under Sewa Pakhwada
Chandigarh, 17.09.2025: On the occasion of Vikas Diwas under Sewa Pakhwada, to mark the 75th Birthday of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) Chandigarh, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, in collaboration with Yuva Stambh Welfare Association, Global Youth Federation and Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad, successfully organized a Mega Blood Donation Camp at the iconic Rock Garden, Chandigarh.
A total of 32 units of blood were collected during the camp, with enthusiastic participation from volunteers and youth. Alongside the blood donation drive, donors were also sensitized about the ‘Swasth Naari, Sashakt Pariwar Abhiyan’ of the Government of India and the importance of Stem Cell Donation, through an awareness session conducted by Shri Vinay Kumar, District Youth Officer, MY Bharat Chandigarh.
It is noteworthy that the Rock Garden has been mentioned by the Hon’ble Prime Minister in several of his speeches as a symbol of creativity, sustainability, and people’s participation—making it a fitting venue for this meaningful initiative.
The event saw active contributions from Mr. Upender Maurya (Yuva Stambh Welfare Association), Mr. Rohit (Global Youth Federation), Mr. Mohit Goyal (Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad) and Miss Preetika, Mr. Nirmal, and Mr. Kuljeet (MY Bharat Chandigarh), whose efforts ensured the successful organization of the camp.
The Mega Blood Donation Camp reflected the spirit of Seva, Sankalp and Samarpan, inspiring youth to contribute towards nation-building and public welfare.
