
Health checkup is necessary for physical fitness: Prof. AR Chaudhary
Employees took advantage of the free health checkup camp at KU Health Center
Nation News, Kurukshetra. A free health check-up camp was organised at KU Health Centre on Wednesday under the guidance of Kurukshetra University Vice Chancellor Professor Somnath Sachdeva. On this occasion, KU Dean of Student Welfare Professor AR Chaudhary, who attended the check-up camp, said that periodic health check-ups are necessary for physical health. Regular health check-ups not only identify diseases, but also help in improving lifestyle and improving overall health.
Dr Aneja, Senior Medical Officer and Administrator of KU Health Centre, said that the First Aid Training Workshop and Free Health Checkup Camp was organized in collaboration with Arogya Bharti and around 300 people took advantage of it. He said that only a healthy person can make a significant contribution to his family, society, educational institution and nation building. Health checkup not only increases life expectancy but also reduces the risk of many serious diseases.
He told that in the camp, the doctor and his team conducted liver scan and general body checkup, blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar level monitoring, hemoglobin, BMI, neurotherapy, spirometry, blood pressure, blood sugar, ECG (heart related checkup), heart disease, calcium in bones and lungs checkup. On this occasion, KU Vice Chancellor Prof. Somnath Sachdeva’s son Harshit Sachdeva, Narendra Verma, Shashikant Pathak, Avtar, Neena, Varun, Dharmesh, Parth, Sanjeev and Paras along with all the staff members were present.
