Agreement Period Over: Action Must Be Taken Soon, Says Madhuyashki
Sakshi, Hyderabad: In a recent outburst, Congress leader and former MP Madhuyashki Goud has expressed his anger towards key officials in various government departments accused of leaking sensitive information in collusion with the opposition party. Goud held a media chat to discuss the ongoing political dynamics in the state, emphasizing the urgent need for accountability and action.
Allegations Against Sohamesh Kumar
During the interaction, Madhuyashki pointed out that the misdeeds of Sohamesh Kumar must be brought to light. He alleged that it was under Kumar’s protection that the GST scam unfolded, raising serious concerns about the integrity of certain officials. Goud called for thorough investigations into these corruption cases, stating, “We must take action against officials who have embezzled and concealed funds, including individuals like Abhay Kumar.”
Concerns Over Investigation Delays
The former MP voiced concerns regarding the sluggish pace of investigations, which he claims has led to compromises in the accountability process. He claimed that the very officials who are supposed to be investigated are the ones implicated in wrongdoing, causing a lack of progress in the investigations.
Calls for Action Against Complicit Officials
Madhuyashki highlighted that one of the officials, who has been a crucial ally to K Kavitha in the Singareni organization, holds a high-ranking position in the current administration. He stated, “The agreement phase has ended, and the time for action has arrived.” He stressed the necessity of sidelining those who played key roles in the previous government to restore integrity.
Collusion with the Opposition
In his strong condemnation, Goud asserted that certain officials are conspiring with the opposition party to leak government information. He urged for swift and decisive actions to rectify the situation and ensure accountability within the government ranks.
The political atmosphere in Telangana continues to be charged as leaders like Madhuyashki demand transparency and reform within the bureaucratic framework, hoping to eliminate corruption and enhance governmental accountability.
