The general public is notified that the Last date for receipt of Claims & Objections for preparation of electoral rolls for the Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee Election in U.T., Chandigarh has been extended to10th March 2025.
The Registration of Voters was until 15.12.2024; Preparation of Manuscripts of Roll, its printing and placement at the Centres for Preliminary publication was until 02.010.2025; Publication of Preliminary Roll by the Deputy Commissioner and Notice by the Deputy Commissioner giving Names & Designations, or in case of officials, designations only, and the addresses, of the revising authorities to whom claims & objections relating to the Roll was on 03.01.2025.
Further, Last date for receipt of Claims & Objections is 10.03.2025; Last date of disposal of Claims & Objections and Communication of decisions by the Revising Authority thereon to the Deputy Commissioners under rule 10 (3) of the Sikh Gurdwaras Board Election Rules, 1959 is until 24.03.2025; Preparation of manuscript of the Supplementary Roll and Printing of Supplements is until 15.04.2025 and Final Publication is until 16.04.2025.
The draft of electrolls of SCGP has been uploaded on the website of Chandigarh Administration i.e. www.chandigarh.gov.in. The applicants are advised that they can check their claims and objections to the list of voters at the given website and can submit the same through email of the concerned AEROs by 10.03.2025; or they can check their claims & objection to the list of voters in the offices of concerned AEROs and can submit the same to their offices.
