The Kamakhya Express train derailed near Manguli station in Cuttack on Sunday with two coaches leaving the tracks.
Fortunately, there are no reports of damage or casualties.Train Diversions Due to Derailment
Due to a train derailment, the following trains have been diverted with immediate effect:
12822 (BRAG)
12875 (BBS)
22606 (RTN)
11 coaches of 12251 Bangalore-Kamakhya AC Superfast Express derailed near Nergundi Station in Cuttack-Nergundi Railway Section of Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway at about 1154hrs on 30.03.2025 (Sunday).
There is no injury or casualty reported till now.
DRM Khurda Road, GM/ECoR and other higher level officials rushed to the spot.
Accident Relief and Medical Relief Train have also been rushed to the spot.
Steps are being taken to send stranded passengers of the affected train, for their destination.
