The newly appointed Deputy Commissioner of Kurukshetra, Vishram Kumar Meena, said that the government’s plans will be implemented by keeping a special focus on the development of Gita Sthal Kurukshetra. In this Dharmakshetra Kurukshetra, priority will be given to the facilities of the common people and problems will be solved on the spot.
IAS Vishram Kumar Meena of Batch 2017 took over as Deputy Commissioner Kurukshetra on Wednesday. As soon as he took charge, he talked to all the sub-divisional officers and took feedback about all the sub-divisions of Kurukshetra district. Not only this, he also discussed in detail about the geographical location of Kurukshetra. During this, the Deputy Commissioner also talked to Superintendent of Police Nitish Agarwal about the law and order situation in Kurukshetra district.
He said that the area around the Markanda river in Kurukshetra is affected by rainwater. The officers of the concerned sub-division will keep a 24-hour vigil in this area. By keeping an eye on these areas, the problems of the people should be resolved on priority basis.
The Deputy Commissioner said that efforts will be made to complete all the schemes of the Central and State Government running in Kurukshetra district within the stipulated time period. All the schemes in this district which are pending due to some reason or the other will also be completed speedily. The Deputy Commissioner said that the government is implementing plans to develop Dharmakshetra Kurukshetra in the field of tourism. The administration will leave no stone unturned in making this area a world-class tourist area.
He also said that as per the order of the state government, Samadhan camps are being organized on Monday and Thursday from 10 am to 12 noon to solve the problems of the people. People should take advantage of these camps because all the officers sit under one roof and solve every kind of problem. On this occasion, Superintendent of Police Nitish Agarwal, SDM Thanesar Shashwat Sangwan, SDM Pehowa Abhinav Siwach, SDM Pankaj Setia, DMC Aman Kumar, Nagaradhis Ashish Kumar, DRO Chetna Chaudhary, DIPR Dr. Narendra Singh, APRO Balram Sharma etc. were present.
