YAD President Sarabjeet Jhinjer Condemns Sexual Assault by So called Baba Jass in Jagraon, Demands strictest action
Chandigarh, October 9 – Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer, President of the Youth Akali Dal (YAD), strongly condemned the sexual assault on a minor by a so called Baba in Jagraon.
“The land of warriors and great saints, Punjab, is being defamed by these tainted self-styled Babas. Punjab, which has always been known for its bravery and spirituality, is today facing shame and ignominy due to the heinous crimes committed by these individuals.”
“The recent incident of sexual assault on a 9-year-old child by Baba Jass in Jagraon’s Chotey Kaunke village is deeply disturbing and has left us all feeling ashamed. This is not an isolated incident; last month, we witnessed another shocking case of a self-styled Baba exploiting women in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji.”
“I urge the Police administration to take the strictest action against Baba Jass and teach him a lesson so that an example can be set for people who even think of doing such a nasty thing. People like these are not only a problem for themselves and the society, but they also defame the organisation they are a part of.”
“I demand that the authorities take immediate action and ensure that justice is served. If the police and administration fail to take strictest action against him, then we, the Sikhs, will not sit quietly and will ensure that he gets what he deserves.”
“I also appeal to my fellow Punjabis to keep a keen eye on our kids, so that nobody can exploit them. We must come together to protect our children and ensure their safety.”
