Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government Combined Employees’ Association expressed its sorrow due to not being included in the Cashless Health Card scheme. Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna has been implemented in convergence with the existing Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana in Odisha but the matter of regret is that Govt. Employees from various departments have been debarred from this valuable schem. The association offered its gratitude for the scheme as it provides a cover of Rs. 5 lakh per family per annum with additional Rs 5 lakh for women members and the scheme covers approximately 3.5 lakhs people of Odisha and can provide health care facilities in 29 thousands of Hospitals allover the country. In this regard The association placed its memorandum before Hon’ble CM, Hon’ble Health Minister as well as at Hon’ble chief secretary to implement Cashless Health Card for the Govt. employees of Odisha who are working to make success each and every plan of State Government But yet no measures have been taken for Govt.
