Sunshine and 40s? A weekend forecast to love!

Mother Nature is not going to be cold-hearted this Valentine’s Day weekend! Highs on Saturday and Sunday will be in the lower to mid 40s. Clouds will be on the increase late in the day.

A storm system will pass just south of Northeast Ohio this weekend. This system will bring widespread, steady rain to the southern half of Ohio on Sunday. At the very most, a few light rain showers or sprinkles could clip places south of Highway 30. Much of the area will stay dry and just see an increase in cloud coverage on Sunday.

Presidents’ Day will be mostly sunny and the warmest day this holiday weekend.

The cold stays away next week with temperatures above average. Interestingly, the average temperatures next week will be identical to the average temperatures between January 5 and January 14! Another drop next in the temperature could come the following week, but nothing too extreme is expected.
